Ah sunburns… I suppose it’s that time of the year again. There’s several different things you want to go ahead and do. First off since you have a couple days before your graduation you asked this question right on time.
Your gonna want to relieve the sunburn with Noxzema or Aloe. This is mostly just for temporary relief from the burn and pain. Rub Noxzema all over your face and body and it should take out the sting and cool the skin. You can also try Aloe which is my personal favorite. It just gives you one of the best cooling sensations their is, however you will have to keep reapplying because the effects do wear off after awhile. Store the Aloe in a cool place for best effects.
Now if you are planning on just getting completely rid of your sunburn by the time your graduation rolls around, try taking a WARM shower. This will speed up the healing process but be warned peeling will most likely occur, and that’s okay because there’s a trick to that. After your skin has cooled off and you see the effects of the hot shower (the peeling of your skin). You can now exfoliate it. Take a towel and moist in warm/hot water. And rub the wet towel onto the burned part of your body/face in circular motions for 10-15 minutes. make sure the towel stays warm (you may need to keep washing the towel with warm water). Be warned it may burn, but believe it’ll be worth it, you’ll feel much better. After you’ve done this apply some moisturizer I feel like Olay works best for me, but any type of moisturizer for dry skin should do fine. you’ll be red for a little but its just because your new layer of skin is showing.
You’ll not only feel better but now you’ll have a much healthier glow to your skin!!
Vinegar (any type) does work wonders if applied within 24 hours with a spray bottle or cotton to your burn and repeated as needed, but I found a product that works even better! My uncle gave me a bottle of 911 Relief after a sunburn, and it took away the sting, the itch, and the pain instantly. If you spray it on your burn every few hours, when you feel the burning and stinging return, even the worst burns will heal completely within 24-48 hours without any blistering or peeling. This stuff also works instantly on all types of bug bites and stings (even scorpion), poison oak, staff infections, etc. It was such an amazing product that I tried for months to find it in local grocery stores and pharmacies after I used what was left in the bottle. Finally, I searched for it online. Seems you have to buy it directly from the manufacturer at 1staidspray.com. Well worth $9.00 a bottle and it’s shipped Priority Mail! I bought 3 more bottles.
