Okay so, the last time I had sunburn, my face swelled up like a balloon. And today I was outside all day. Is there anyway I can prevent this from happening again?? 10 points for best answer.

Aloe helps a lot. Also the cream Aloe worked for me when I had a really bad sun burn.

Sunburns will peel no matter what. Why? Cause the skin is dead. Its good for it to peel.
Truthfully I’ve never heard of swelling, but its not unheard of.
Just use aloe vera, the green gel stuff, it feels soo good on a hot sticky sunburn. :]
Put on a really high sun lotion – something like factor 40.
You are going to be doing a lot of damage to your skin if you let it burn, and really regret it in later years.
