I went snowboarding a few days ago and was extremely sunburned on my face. I know you dont want to buy aloe vera, but it is honestly the best remedy, even if you just get the standard gel that is about 5 dollars. In my experience, the first day my face was blistered and I applied thick aloe vera continuously. The next day it was still very dry and I continued to apply aloe vera gel on it and it was getting better. When you go to bed or are just sitting around apply a thick, thick amount and it will soak in. Make sure every few times you wash your face to prevent infection. Once it starts to peel (if you do) you can continue to use aloe vera, but also I found this really great lotion that is very sensitive on the skin and feels great too. It is Aveeno baby lotion soothing relief moisture cream. It is fragrance free and hypoallergenic. In only 4 days my blisters have turned to peeling and now it is almost completely healed.

AloeVera. You can buy pure Aloe in the drug store or if you have a plant just break a branch of it in half and rub it on your face or where ever. It works great. Why are you putting all these acids on your face. Don't do that. There are going to dry up your skin terribly.
