I got a sunburn the other day and started peeling yesterday, however now the skin underneath is raw and 10x more painful than the original sunburn. Its across my chest and I can’t move my arms inwards or lean forwards or even sleep on my side (Which sucked TERRIBLY last night) without feeling a sharp pain. How long does it take for this to heal?
Its not really blistered, and the burn wasn’t originally that bad – i just think I peeled it too fast and the skin underneath is really raw to where it hurts to touch.

Judging by the seriousness of the burn I’d say 5 days to a week.
It usually only lasts a few days, unless you are blistered, then maybe a few more. I’ve only had small blisters and it lasted about 4 days. try rubbing some aloe on in, it made me feel a whole lot better
