The secret to preventing peeling and helping the tan itself is to moisturize every 30 minutes or so. And you're probably not sunburned, you are what we call "pink," it just means that you should decrease your tanning time outside by about a minute or two. Pink means that you have come to the point where your body can't tan that much. Wait 24 hours before you tan again and you should be fine. ALWAYS ALWAYS ALWAYS MOISTURIZE THOROUGHLY EVEN IF YOU ARE NOT TANNING!
