Anything with aloe. If you don’t have any, noxema face cream also helps sunburns. The coolness feels amazing.
This may sound weird, but try vinegar (takes out the sting and itch). It will make you smell weird, but I found it works. Also, try aloe vera gel or Solar-Caine sunburn spray.
Go to the doctor and they should write you up for this cream. I had really really bad sunburn about a month ago and this is what I got, worked great. Aloe just doesnt cut it sometimes.
Easy – unscented moisterizer and lots of it. The itching is a normal part of healing post burn. The burn damaged the skins ability to hold in moisture, it dries out and gets itchy.
honestly not sure if this well help the itching…..but i rub noxzema ( the facial cleaner) on my sunburn and then rinse off. it always takes the sting out of the burn and help soften the skin. noxzema helps put moisture back in to your skin, witch might help the itching.
after burn cool area, place aloe vera over the area. also put some mittens on dont scratch it,,, keep out of the sun.
vinegar eliminates the problems & usually turns me brown instead of peeling. Unlike my little brother, vinegar only stinks for a little while.
1. take a cool bath (not ice cold) and don’t use anything (no bubble bath, bath salts or oils in the water)
2. apply covered ice packs to the skin
3. stay out of the sun. it takes a few weeks to heal tender, burned skin
4. take an aspirin to ease the pain and inflammation
5. drink extra water to replenish your skin which has lost fluid to swelling and dehydration
6. apply an over-the-counter anesthetic spray to ease the pain
7. aloe vera gel (unscented)
8. if your burn blisters, cover it with a saline-soaked cold-compress and seek medical treatment immediately

Aloe Vera Gel will help prevent peeling in some cases. Also Lanacine you can spray on…it is a first aid spray. It will help with any pain & itching. Unfortunately it is not long term relief in my experience but it will give you a nice little break!
