PCAT or The Pharmacy College Admission Test is the ideal admission entrance test to different pharmacy programs organized by AACP. It is usually needed as accessory to get to colleges of Pharmacy in the U.S., and few are in Canada. Mostly an eligible candidate would give this test at the ending period of second year of his/her college because , though requirement of pharmacy programs are different for different schools , mostly they needed under graduation qualification of 2 years minimum , and 3 calendar years of study of pharmacy or either 4 academics sessions. Although some candidates may be clear this test with minimum preparation , generally test takers will get benefit of time allocation to study in advance and preparing through test guides designed especially for this entrance paper only or practicing with exam flashcards. This test is conducted 3 times a year at various centers in Canada and Unites States. The test is around 4 ½ hrs long conducted on Saturday mornings with breaks in between, if by chance the number of applicants is huge the test could be held in the afternoon or can be on Sunday.
