My wife is worried that our white boxer pup will get sunburn if we leave him out side for a few hours a day. Can they get burnt? We’ve noticed his ears and the top of his neck get pink after being out for a while.

I got pretty crispy today, which is fine because I was being dumb and not wearing sunblock. (I know, I should have, I’ll get skin cancer, whatever) My lower back is really pink. If a sunburn is going to blister, how long does it take for the blisters to appear? I was in the sun probably for two and a half ish hours. It’s five hours later and I have no sign of blistering at this point.
